Yet another Shrapnel Bambi. I tried something different on the background this time, but after an hour of writing I still hadn't covered much space, I got frustrated and started scrawling words on there randomly, then finally settled on doing the ol' horizontal lines again. It's a shame about the bacground, because for once I was really happy with the way that the figure turned out. For the nonce: Main figure done while watching Edward Scissorhands, the background done while watching 'Faking It -- Magician' and Batman.

I really like that. I know someone who has a style similar... I've always wanted to try something like that... lifelike, realist but with a hint of pop-art or line-art.. I'm not sure. But I love it

I like the poser, and love the detail work, esp on the clothes and hair. The background looks good, the way it's somewhat chaotic, and somewhat organized gives the image itself depth. If it were easily legible it'd distract too much from the chixxor.
