Artist's Comments

A slightly extended version of the small Tate Modern 'Mountain, Sea' picture. I've done this one literally because I need a new mug and thought if I use the Prints system here I can buy myself a spangly Mountain Mug. So this is purely commercial, in the most selfish, pathetic way possible.

EDIT: After the first posting of this, I've tried updating the file to print standard, and I'm having a NIGHTMARE. Bear with me if you can't see anything here.

maybe it's commercial, but nice indeed. :)

Exactly. And if Warhol could repeat himself and everyone loves him.

It's about $7 or something, so move up or down the scale based on the strength of your currency against the dollar. The file's been rejected as a print, unfortuneately, I think there was something wrong with the file, so I have to sort that out.

It reminds me of muscle fibres...I've always wondered if those actually exist or if they're just drawn on.

I'm always looking for models (male/female, any age), if you'd like to help out in anyway, let me know. Bear in mind I work from Southampton/London and the South East. [link]

successssss! what a brilliant idea, you brilliant man you

I know exactly what you mean -- in biology text books and the like? I used to be a butcher, and I've never seen fibres as prominent as they get shown, but they are there -- on cookery programs they call it 'the grain'.

Yes, cookery programs. I'm married, give me a break.

lol We'll see. I'm having proper problems with the jpeg... it either doesn't load, or when it does it's corrupted. I've just spent 3/4 of an hour fixing it and digitally touching it up and I'm still not sure it's worked.
