Gareth A Hopkins is an artist living and working in Essex. He has a wife, who is expecting his first child. He also has a proper job.

‘grthink’ is the pseudonym he sometimes uses. It is a combination of ‘Gareth’ (grth) and ‘Ink’ (ink). Nobody gets that first time, and as psedonyms go, it’s not the best.

Babies and Galleries and XOK

So, Bill Hopkins is now very much resident in the world, and taking up a lot of my time because he keeps pooping and vomming on stuff (Bill is my son, BTW). I'd post pictures of him, but that'd be lame -- I mean, posting them to deviantart would be lame, I've posted them all over other sites.

In other news, I'm included in three exhibitions over the next few months:

26th November - 3rd December: [link] Operation Concrete @ Vibe Bar, Brick Lane, London
This is the book launch that I've been banging on about for the past few months. Everything's sorted and my final piece is amazing -- I'll post it once the show's underway.

3rd December - 21st December: [link] Postcards From Dystopia @ Nolia Gallery, 60 Great suffolk Street, London
I've done three postcards from a fictional dystopia for this group show, that was origianlly to take place in New York. Again, I won't post until the show's underway.

January 2010: Mail Art @ Tron Theatre Gallery, Glasgow
My latest three deviations (Numbers 1-3) are to be featured as part of the mail art call, and also included in the accompanying book.

The superb Atena Kasper has also included some of my postcards in the Birthday Edition of XOK Mag: [link]
